Genesis 2

Since on the seventh day God was finished with the work he had been doing, he rested on the seventh day from all the work he had undertaken.

So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work he had done in creation.

LIBER GENESIS 2

2 Complevitque Deus die septimo opus suum, quod fecerat, et requievit die septimo ab universo opere, quod patrarat.

3 Et benedixit Deus diei septimo et sanctificavit illum, quia in ipso requieverat ab omni opere suo, quod creavit Deus, ut faceret.
